Planet Novaedus

Overview: Nicknamed “Nova” by inhabitants, Novaedus is a large, wet and warm planet with moderate flora. It has a relatively hot summers and cool winters. It rains quite often, with many areas averaging at least 40” of rainfall throughout the year. Natural disasters used to overwhelm the planet's surface before a widespread climate control system was created to lessen their intensities.
The warm and wet environment facilitates the comfort of Jammyx and ensures optimal living conditions.

Features: The majority of the planet was originally covered in dense rainforests before its colonization. Many were destroyed to make way for ████ and urban areas but several of ranges of jungle still exist among many continents in organized "Nature Zones". In addition to rainforests, moutain ranges, marshes, plains and beaches can be found on Novaedus at varying levels of size. The planet has several large bodies that contain a variety of tropical fish and structures, including but not limited to reefs, ridges and volcanos under the blue surface. 

Wildlife: The original wildlife of Novaedus consisted of creatures adjusted to the hot temperatures and volatile climate of the natural planet. However, with the heavy influence of Jammyx's intergalatic culture, various types of wildlife have been (illegally) introduced and adapted to the planet's new conditions, leading to unknown quantity of new, undocumented species that have drawn the interest of many scientists in the nearby galaxy.
