MYO-541: Paisley

Originally a measely worker robot from a distant planet, Paisley was always designed to obey and never deviate from her orders. Her old owner was an enviromentalist and even designed Paisley to be charged by solar energy- which worked great in the greenhouse she was assigned to tend to at all hours. However, when the planet faced an extinction-level catastrophe, Paisley was given one order: to protect her owner's most prized plant under any circumstances. She was sent off the planet in an escape pod and used her own body's energy to nurture the plant which caused her to fall into a deep comatose state. Eventually, Paisley landed on a new planet and was able to recharge herself enough to wake up. Now, almost every waking moment of her life is spent fulfilling her final orders.

It's a huge burden to Paisley. Not only was it her owner's favorite flower, it's likely the only living piece of wildlife from her home planet. And not only that, the plant has developed some...parasitic qualities after being sustained on Paisley's energy for so long. It just takes and takes and takes. It even started growing through her body. Paisley gives it everything she has and everyday she grows just a little bit weaker. She works hard to compensate for the energy the plant consumes.

Paisley doesn't really have any hobbies of her own. Most of her life was spent in a greenhouse where she did menial chores like sweeping up leaves and watering the plants. She never really had a chance to develop her own interests. Had she been able to, she would've liked to learn how to paint.

Sometimes, she struggles to understand emotion. She also struggles to express it herself. Paisley always speaks politely as to not hurt anyones feelings, but can also be quite blunt. She gets upset whenever she's asked to do something that would deviate from her orders. Paisley is a bit of a perfectionist and gets down on herself when she isn't perfect doing something for the first time. That doesn't mean she'll give up trying, though. She never gives up when she faces hardships. Some may say it's just how she was coded, but others say it's part of her "human spirit"
